After Qinhuangdao Harbour became the first in the world with a coal shipment capacity exceeding 200 million tons, Hebei province will continue to enhance the construction of ports, build Qinhuandao, Tangshan and Huanghua into three large modern integrated ports in 3 years and form the world’s largest port group for coal shipment with the ports of Qinhuandao and Huanghua as the hubs. Through this grand project, Hebei will build a large specialized port layout for coal, iron ore and containers, becoming an important transfer base in Circum-Bohai Area mainly for metal ore, crude oil and LNG.
